I feel that building a nuclear power plant in the UAE will benefit the countries economical growth as well as make it more environmental friendly. As a nuclear power plant is an alternate source of energy so it does not contribute to global warming. Although, there have been many safety issues regarding nuclear power stations, but through new technology it has been improved as features of the new generations of reactors including passive safety systems and fewer pipes and valves are designed to minimize the potential for accidents and to limit the damaging effects should such an accident occur. That's why I feel that we should support the UAE in this initiative.
Definitely why not support it. It is a very environmentally friendly source of energy as no pollutants are exerted only water vapour. Yes it does have its cons but what doesn't. It requires a small amount of input for a lot of energy, yes it is risky but dubai will make sure to take all safety precautions with all tge high tech gear.
No doubt about supporting it.Why not?? As we face up needing long-term sustainable energy, besides we also have to consider that our Country U.A.E produces oil which is a good point. Oil and gas are limited in reserves.This plant can be built in any country regardless of any domestic uranium reserves. So why not our Place??.For sure it will need an input and its risky but U.A.E will take precautions. It will affect the economy and our country will become eco-friendly amongst other people and countrys. And now because of technology it's much easier and improved.
